Kadu Viva fell in love with music as a child.
His father, who was also a musician, was a drummer for the band "Os Selvagens" in Recife/PE.
With this fatherly musical influence, he always listened to a lot of good music from the 50s, 60s and 70s at home.
Still in childhood, he began to write his first lyrics and compose his first songs.
At the age of 14, a friend taught him the first chords on the guitar and lent him the instrument. At the same time, Kadu finds a broken Di Giorgio guitar, repairs it and begins his studies in a self-taught way.
Soon after, he gets a guitar from his paternal grandmother and never lets go of the instrument.
At the age of 18, he entered the School of Music in Brasília, where he began his lute studies. A renaissance instrument, of ancient music, with professor Fernando Dell Isola.
At the same conservatory, he also studied soundtrack for cinema and TV with the musician and professor, Eugênio de Matos.
After that, he started to work composing and performing soundtracks for several theater companies in Brasilia.
At the same time, he began to perform in several nightclubs in Brasília, with the experienced and excellent Blues and Jazz musician, Marcius Cabral.
With his band, he performed in 2018 at the República Blues Festival.
Today, Kadu Viva is dedicated to two musical projects.
An instrumental, where it walks through several classics, ranging from Frank Sinatra to Michael Jackson.
In his other project, of authorial compositions, the sound waves of Kadu Viva materialize in the Dionysian, free and pulsating frequency of Rock n Roll. In Power Trio format, Kadu Viva presents an electric and visceral show, full of strong melodies and strident guitars.
